The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) will offer a one-hour webinar entitled "Inevitable Disclosure, the DTSA, and Avoiding Contamination" on July 27, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm (ET).  Bret Cohen of Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris; Ken Corsello of IBM Corp.; and James Pooley of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP will discuss the future of inevitable disclosure and the related notion of "threatened misappropriation" under the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), and how that will relate to the long-standing patchwork of state laws on the issue.  The panel will also consider more generally the risks involved in hiring an employee from a competitor and how to mitigate them.
