The American Law Institute (ALI) and American Bar Association (ABA) will be holding a conference entitled: "Emerging Issues in Biotechnology Law" on September 6-7, 2007 in Washington, D.C.  The conference will address current issues in biotechnology and related legal developments, including collaborations with academia, business alliances, working with the federal government and Department of Defense, clinical trials, intellectual property, agricultural biotechnology, third-wave-industrial biotechnology, FDA response to emerging technologies, and international issues.
